Nocturnist/Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - Swing shift - UNC Health Wayne
UNC Health Wayne is hiring a BC/BE Hospitalist/Nocturnist to join our growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. The role involves delivering high‑quality, team‑based inpatient services.
Schedule 3:00 pm – 3:00 am (9 hours of admissions followed by 3 hours of cross‑coverage). Shift start times may vary for flexibility.
Facility UNC Wayne is a modern facility with 316 acute‑care beds and a 120+ year history. Key units include:
38 emergency beds
4 trauma beds
4 behavioral health beds
15‑bed ICU
8‑bed labor & delivery unit
26‑bed nursery
22‑bed behavioral health unit
closed ICU
EMR EPIC
Requirements
Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
Internal Medicine residency preferred
Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE)
