Job Description: What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO Minimum qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license Safe driving record and history Willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical Available to work a flexible schedule of up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts Preferred qualifications: Forklift experience Currently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements About the Truck Driver Job Pay, benefits, and more: Home daily Competitive pay starting at $28.49/hour Full health insurance benefits effective on the first day Life and disability insurance included Earn up to 13 days of paid time off in your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) option with company match Education assistance available This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position What you'll do on a typical day: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Provide excellent service to customers and generate sales leads Load and unload freight as required Truck Drivers are required to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 75 lbs.) Safely climb in and out of a tractor cab/trailer Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift Walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces, even in inclement weather Perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours in varying weather conditions About XPO XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology, and physical assets.
