Talent Acquisition Representatives strategically and operationally identify sources of talent, build relationships, and select people who possess the mindset, values, and special skills to be successful within the organization. As a Talent Acquisition Representative you will
Work with department management in assigned areas to identify hiring needs and develop short and long range hiring goals, effective recruiting plans and strategies for filling current and projected open positions
Review and create new job descriptions/postings as needed, expense reduction plans, etc.
Communicate regularly with department management regarding status of open positions and status of applicants to drive consistent process management
Visit / follow through with departments on a regularly scheduled basis and attend appropriate department meetings in order to fully understand and relate to the purpose, programs, work roles, and overall environment of departments being served
Recruit qualified candidates for open positions and anticipated vacancies via advertising, the internet, public and private agencies, community resources, etc.
Direct and conduct pre-employment assessments using iCIMS selection tools when considering candidates
Consistently recommend candidates based on these evaluations and provide top qualified candidates to hiring managers
This position may require some travel including evening and weekend hours to support recruiting events
Qualifications Required :
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in Talent Acquisition in positions involving full life cycle recruitment
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using technology (i.e. MS Teams, MS Outlook, mobile technology)
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or higher OR Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition
2 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition in positions involving full life cycle recruitment
PHR, SHRM-CP
Applicant tracking System experience
iCIMS experience
Experience in high volume staffing & recruitment
Experience in sourcing utilizing methods involving job boards, social media, company career page, networking events, university partnerships, & professional associations
Experience with developing metrics, data analysis, and reporting
Skills

Must possess a customer service and solution oriented approach
Willingness to adapt to and promote change
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software & platforms
Understanding of regulation-driven hiring practices specific to defence industry
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including those specific to federal contracting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
