Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client's team as Sterile Processing Technician. This position is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring every item meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and infection control.

Job Description

Follow all ANSI/AAMI standards, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), SOPs, and company Work Instructions. Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment using proper PPE and protocols. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble complex surgical instruments as required. Accurately assemble and package instrument trays and sets per guidelines. Operate washers, sterilizers, and other processing equipment safely and effectively. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage prior to packaging. Document missing or damaged instruments per SOPs. Maintain accurate and timely records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and inventory levels. Handle all instruments and customer-owned items with care to prevent damage. Perform daily computer tasks and paperwork related to processing and tracking. Monitor and maintain instrument and supply inventory levels. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of sterilization equipment. Keep workstations and decontamination areas clean and organized. Adhere to company quality standards and infection control procedures. Communicate effectively with internal team members, operations personnel, and distribution staff. Provide feedback and suggest improvements to workflow and procedures. Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain certifications and competencies. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Skills Required

Knowledge of ANSI/AAMI standards, instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and accurate documentation Detail-oriented, safety-focused, organized, and effective in communication and teamwork. Education/Training/Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (e.g., CRCST, CIS) Additional Requirements

Shift Time: 3rd Shift- 11:00pm-7:30am
