Role Description This is a contract-based remote role for an Editorial & Creative Strategy Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for creating a report to include: Developing strategies to refine content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, The Weekly newsletter and website platform Creating SEO and traffic strategy to increase key performance indicators Optimizing the alignment of editorial initiatives with Galavante’s brand goals. Consultant will also be responsible for the implementation of recommendations on social media, YouTube, and the Galavante.com website and to direct the Senior Editor and editorial team on the enhancement of the editorial strategy. There is the opportunity for the consulting role to evolve to a permanent team role, where responsibilities will include: Managing the Senior Editor and editorial calendar; Directing the magazine’s voice, setting creative direction, overseeing content quality, and leading traffic growth initiatives; Overseeing editorial operations, social media, YouTube, creative strategy, and overall audience development; Provide editorial oversight with digital growth and branding leadership; Cross-platform creative strategy, managing content teams, traffic and engagement growth; Scope includes not just editorial but also social media, video, and brand storytelling. Qualifications Proven track record of increasing social media, YouTube and website KPIs Strong management and teamwork skills Subject matter expertise in luxury travel Editorial experience both as a writer as well as manager of content Experience with social media and SEO analysis tools Extensive network within media with writers, editors, and social media contacts
