The SAP S/4HANA Master Data Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining master data governance and processes across the SAP S/4HANA landscape. This role ensures high‑quality, consistent, and reliable master data across all functional areas — including materials, customers, vendors, business partners, and finance — to support business operations and reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the end‑to‑end design, configuration, and deployment of Master Data processes in SAP S/4HANA; configure and maintain Business Partner (BP), Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Pricing, and Plant/Storage‑related master data; ensure accurate setup of number ranges, field controls, and custom attributes.
Data Governance & Quality:
Define and enforce master data standards, validation rules, and governance policies; collaborate with business users and IT teams to maintain data integrity and consistency across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM).
Required Skills & Experience
5–12+ years of SAP experience, with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA.
Strong functional knowledge of Material Master, Business Partner (BP), Customer/Vendor Master, and data migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, BODS).
Experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) is a strong plus.
