RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)
We're hiring experienced RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina — earn up to ($1513 - $1593 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly to ensure optimal care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on best practices.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient care effectiveness.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.
Manage time effectively to meet patient care deadlines and targets.
Experience/Qualifications Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar environment.
Capability to manage time effectively to meet patient care targets.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.
Ability to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
Ability to educate patients and families on health management.
Experience in quality improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
Willingness to mentor and assist new nursing staff.
