Provide expert legal advice on patent law matters, including patentability, validity, and infringement issues. Conduct comprehensive patent searches and draft patent applications to protect the company's intellectual property. Lead patent prosecution efforts, including responding to office actions and opposition proceedings. Develop and implement patent strategies to safeguard the company's intellectual property rights and maximize their value. Analyze patents and patent portfolios, including due diligence, freedom‑to‑operate, and landscape analyses. Represent the company in patent litigation, including pre‑litigation counseling, discovery, trial, and appeal. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand the company's products and technologies and identify potential patent opportunities. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Patent Attorney in a law firm or corporate legal department. Extensive experience in patent prosecution, patent litigation, and patent strategy. Proven experience in conducting patent searches, drafting patent applications, and analyzing patents. Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, particularly patent law. Excellent legal research skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
