Position Overview:

The Engineering Associate will assist the Engineering team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment and systems within the sterile manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of engineering principles and a passion for process improvement in a regulated pharma manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day operations of the engineering department in equipment maintenance, calibration, and validation activities. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in production and utility areas. Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance, calibration, and validation per GMP and regulatory standards. Support installation, qualification, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new equipment. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance. Work with the QA and Production teams to ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing industry. Knowledge of GMP, validation, and maintenance practices in a regulated environment. Hands-on experience with utilities (HVAC, water systems, compressors, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
