Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr The Female Quotient is seeking a multitalented Videographer and Editor. The ideal candidate is a creative and self‑motivated editor and camera operator with a strong background in video production and simple motion graphics. In this role you will play a critical part in further building The FQ’s content and shape how The FQ engages its audience across platforms, ensuring each video is informative, compelling, and culturally relevant. If you’re an editor, storyteller and videographer who is passionate about driving meaningful conversations for women in the workplace, we’d love to hear from you! This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will: Report to the Executive Producer and work closely with the video and social media teams to meet video editing and production needs Edit engaging digital videos for YouTube and social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn Serve as a camera operator to film interviews in the field and in‑studio as needed Create shot lists and help with scripts for studio and field shoots Utilize narrative storytelling to shoot and edit compelling narratives Identify and source high quality clips from press conferences, news, speeches and more. Anticipate the needs of a team and problem‑solve as challenges arise. Create static graphics such as thumbnails for use across social media channels to promote videos and increase engagement. Proofread and fact‑check all individual projects, and help others do the same as needed. Strive to create smart, creative work to raise the visibility of women in the workplace, and the world at large. Create short‑form content from FQ Lounge conversations. Travel (domestic and international) for video coverage at select FQ events Commitment to contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment. Other qualifications include: 4+ years in a professional digital video/ media production and editing role Expertise in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects. Expertise using Sony and Canon cameras Produce a range of video content, including social‑first videos, studio interviews, event video coverage and more. An understanding of the current social video landscape and the role video plays, including optimizing video across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines. Passion for advancing women in the workplace and gender equality. Why Join Us?
