We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join out client, a fast-growing consumer brand helping people feel more confident and comfortable in their skin. The team consists of about 25 passionate, driven professionals works together in a collaborative, high-energy environment in downtown Durham, NC.

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll own key accounting functions that keep the business running smoothly. You’ll play a critical role in financial reporting, cash management, and inventory accounting for a fast-paced CPG company. Your day-to-day will include :
Managing the month-end close and preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements. Reconciling cash, inventory, and revenue accounts. Maintaining daily cash records and preparing short-term cash forecasts. Supporting cost accounting, margin analysis, and inventory reconciliations. Recording eCommerce and retail transactions, including chargebacks and deductions. Partnering across teams to improve processes and ensure financial accuracy. Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field). 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience — ideally in CPG, manufacturing, or an inventory-driven business. Strong understanding of GAAP, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.). Detail-oriented, organized, and energized by fast-moving environments. Bonus points if you have :
Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or retail accounting. A background in consumer goods, personal care, or similar product categories.
