Residential Escrow Officer
Location: Chicagoland area: Oak Brook, Lincoln Park, Loop, Lombard, Des Plaines, and Northwest Indiana.

About the Role The Escrow Officer is responsible for closing real estate transactions by gathering relevant information, preparing documents, coordinating with lenders and real estate agents, issuing and clearing title, conducting closings, recording documents, and ensuring proper disbursement of funds.
Responsibilities
Review Preliminary Title Reports, clear title, prepare the Closing Disclosure & Settlement Statements, and prepare documents for closing.
Process all incoming and outgoing funds and record official documents.
Set appointments for closing and communicate the closing process with clients, answering any questions or concerns.
Review all data for accuracy and ensure final calculations for closing are correct.
Manage and develop customer relationships to maintain clients and ensure future business.
Stay current on industry knowledge through continued education and relevant training classes.
Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of professional experience handling escrow transactions.
Experience in the title industry.
Multi-tasking and flexibility working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to write professional correspondence and routine reports.
Skilled in calculating figures such as interest, prorations, and commissions.
Aptitude to read and interpret real estate specific documents.
Adept at setting priorities and problem resolution.
Skilled at using Microsoft Office.
Proficiency using industry specific software.
Compensation Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr.
