The Boeing Company is looking for a
Test and Evaluation Technical Services Specialist
as part of Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) to join our team in
Seattle, WA . We are looking for individuals with experience and knowledge of equipment shipping/receiving and associated documentation/compliance requirements.
This role will perform test asset management and ensure that the testing engineers, technicians and mechanics have the measurement test equipment when needed. Additionally, the role ensures the equipment is certified and ready for testing.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Test and Evaluation Technical Services Specialists.
Position Responsibilities
Providing receiving service for test equipment and other assets arriving at lab site, and delivering equipment directly to labs or designated locations
Providing pickup and shipping services for test equipment and other assets to local, regional and out-of-state locations
Utilizing scanners and associated databases to document, track and maintain test equipment movement and location status
Managing ordering of lab test equipment parts and supplies
Communicating and coordinating with customers, business partners and vendors regularly
Coordinating and supporting surplus activities for equipment no longer needed
Performing asset inventories/audits and collect data to assist with business decisions
Ability to support operations at multiple sites as business needs arise
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of experience in asset management
1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Willing and able to work overtime if needed
Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Associate’s degree or higher
Technical/Technology degree in math, science, engineering, or metrology areas
Knowledge of calibrated M&TE assets used in engineering test, measurement, and production
Experience in project management
Experience in inventory management
Knowledge of aerospace industry
