Central Bank
Assists Consumer Banking Manager in branch operations. Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Provides customer services in teller area, opening accounts, resolving issues, cross-selling products, and more. Acts as a resource for operational and customer issues. Assists with sales development and staff training.
Duties, Scope, Responsibilities & Authority Assists customers/employees, motivates staff, opens/closes branch, performs teller duties including deposits, withdrawals, check processing, and reconciliation. Provides customer service such as account opening, problem resolution, cross-selling. Supports day‑to‑day operations and ensures procedures are followed. Demonstrates proficiency in service and resolves difficult situations. Maintains knowledge of bank products and staff training. Pursues sales opportunities and meets branch and individual goals. Makes referrals and participates in sales programs. Arranges daily work plans, maintains cash handling procedures, and ensures compliance with regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities Reports to Branch Manager and indirectly to Assistant Manager. Tellers report indirectly to Personal Banker when management is absent. Work is reviewed by Branch Manager and Assistant Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Thorough knowledge of teller and new account functions, bank regulations, policies, and products.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent oral and written communication and customer relations skills.
Good judgment, ability to handle confidential information quickly and accurately.
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities and successful completion of in‑house training programs.
Computer skills (email, printer, copy, Microsoft Office, scanner, cash counting machine, cash dispensing machine, coin counter).
