Regional Sales Manager – Midwest (Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota) at Clark‑Reliance® Clark‑Reliance® is a world‑class manufacturing company serving customers in over 120 countries in the power generation, refining, gas processing, and chemical industries. The company supplies a broad product line in instrumentation and leads in separation and filtration. Responsibilities
Call on prospective customers to establish relationships and educate them on Clark‑Reliance® products and services. Maintain contact with current customers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential new business. Stay informed on all products and services relevant to current and prospective customers. Monitor competitive activity and inform management on a continuing basis. Work closely with proposals and other departments to coordinate activities for timely, accurate responses. Direct and manage the activities of local sales representatives to achieve company objectives. Demonstrate solutions‑based sales processes and use value propositions. Develop sales plans to meet and exceed quotas. Provide sales forecasting and report sales activities weekly. Participate in promotional events such as conferences, trade shows, speakers’ bureaus, and industry programs. Maximize penetration of all Clark‑Reliance® products within assigned geography. Review representative performance and sales data to drive results. Track and proactively engage with new construction and maintenance projects in the territory. Provide product technical support to representatives and clients as needed. Train and develop representatives in Clark‑Reliance® products and solutions. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree minimum or equivalent experience. Five years of related sales experience or recent territory and representative management experience. Must reside in the assigned territory. Solid working knowledge of process instrumentation products. Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role. Familiarity with CRM software and ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs). Strong organizational skills with a problem‑solving attitude. Successful passage of a routine motor vehicle and credit check. Benefits
