Job Description The Full Stack Software Engineer designs and builds enterprise web applications using ASP.NET and C#, following best practices for scalable and maintainable systems. In this role, you will be developing and implementing products and services supporting National General. You will leverage test driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. You will participate in the decision-making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs. The internal National General job title for this role is Software Engineer Consultant II. Key Responsibilities
Practices paired programming when needed and test-driven development in writing software and building products. Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices. Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product. Collaborates within the team in designing systems and apps. Provides support for software products in user environments. Participates in knowledge sharing and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team. Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team’s backlog. Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups. Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in ASP.NET and C# backend development for enterprise or business applications, preferably gained through previous employment or internships (Preferred) Basic understanding of MVC architecture and experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs in a professional setting Solid understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React.js, Knockout.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Blazor is a plus Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server; including writing and optimizing T-SQL queries Exposure to building scalable and maintainable web applications in a work or internship environment Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and basic experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong problem-solving and debugging skills demonstrated in both front-end and back-end environments Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or Scrum-based development teams Experience
1–2 years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities

Base compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - $85,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role. Note
