Summary HR Manager assists with the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties while under the supervision of the HRBP and GM. The HRM carries out responsibilities in all the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, record keeping and recruitment. As an HRM, most of your time will be spent with the team (employees, supervisors, and managers) being a consultant and problem-solver, and continuously changing the environment to move the business forward.
Primary Responsibilities
Undertake payment and breakout of insurance invoices
Responsible for various compliance measures including I-9 forms maintenance, participating in verify program, OSHA, COBRA etc.
Maintain HRIS: including time off, info changes
Assist in special projects: handbook, trainings, update internal HR processes & forms
Conduct annual reporting: audit, vacation leave balances
Put together hiring packet and organize the new employee orientation
Assist with exit interviews
Participate in disciplinary actions/termination of employees
Maintain employee files and the HR filing system
Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office
Complete and submit all the accident reports in a timely manner
Maintain employee information in payroll system review all online timesheets and process weekly payroll
Process weekly payroll for all employees; handle all related responsibilities including time off accruals, contributions toward benefits programs, etc.
Facilitate safety training programs for all the employees
Evaluate and deliver monthly HR Metrics in relation to established goals
Utilize all available data sources to make fact-based decisions to solve complex problems
Perform employee relations investigations, complaint response, and recommend decisions/best course of action, responsible for all documentation of such matters
Work on various fun program and events to enhance employee motivation
Work closely with HRBP and department heads to improve work relationships, build morale, enhance retention
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Specifications and Requirements
Must have related experience, manufacturing industry preferred.
Spanish bilingual is required
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have an ability to maintain a good working relationship with others
Strong organizational and time management discipline
Solid judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively
Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in stressful situations
Process oriented but flexible and adaptable to organization needs
Familiarity with Payroll software
Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Usage of electronic device is a prerequisite of the job
Highly energetic and self-starter
Should be honest, assertive, and systematic
