Overview The Facilities Coordinator 4 is based in Pocasset, MA and will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with overseeing and communicating the performance of HII Unmanned Systems Facilities owned and leased to include a fleet of work vehicles.

Uncrewed Systems (UxS) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Uncrewed Systems comprises unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomy software.

Position The Facilities Coordinator 4 is based in Pocasset, MA and will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with overseeing and communicating the performance of HII Unmanned Systems Facilities owned and leased to include a fleet of work vehicles.

Responsibilities

Assist the Facilities Manager with the day to day facility service and operation through hands-on support

Provide direct support for engineering and production machinery and equipment maintenance needs

Support and assist productive maintenance approach for preventative, corrective and breakdown scenarios

Support 24/7 emergency on-call responsibility for Pocasset’s facilities

Maintain all building systems including HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, Life/Safety

Maintain a good working relationship with Pocasset facilities architects, builders and property managers

Maintain working relationship with all required contractors e.g. electrical, HVAC, custodial, house & grounds, etc. to ensure campus performance standards are maintained

Ensure work environment is in full compliance with all EHS rules and regulations

Assist the Facilities Manager with other departments on procurement of any equipment or facility upgrades

Active team member in Environmental Health and Safety activities

Comply with all HII policies, procedures and requirements

Attend professional development and training sessions/seminars

Could be responsible for maintenance of high voltage systems, utility infrastructures, emergency generators and piping systems.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.

Availability of after hours with on call support possibly onsite to ensure next day production and facility operations.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance #LI-MH1

Preferred Requirements

Appropriate facilities management licenses and/or certifications a plus

Physical Requirements Job Performance may require lifting and moving of furniture, supplies and equipment.
