Responsibilities
Guest Check‑In and Check‑Out: Assist guests, ensuring a smooth experience.
Reservations Management: Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Payment Processing: Process room charges, deposits, and refunds while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Communication Hub: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address needs and resolve issues.
Providing Information: Offer details about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
Problem‑Solving: Resolve guest concerns effectively, escalating when necessary.
Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of stays, payments, and interactions in the PMS.
Promoting Hotel Services: Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities to enhance the experience.
Ensuring Security: Follow safety protocols, verify identification, and monitor for suspicious activity.
Qualifications / What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in customer‑facing roles (hospitality, retail, or food service).
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional service.
Familiarity with computers and reservation or property management systems (PMS).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience handling complaints or resolving conflicts calmly and effectively.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously (answering phones, reservations, assisting guests).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Hospitality or front desk experience is preferred.
