This role serves as the primary IT point of contact for local users, providing daily technical support, maintaining hardware and network systems, and contributing to IT projects and system enhancements. It offers a dynamic balance between end‑user support and infrastructure management, with opportunities to collaborate closely with a global IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands‑on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, VLANs, and Wi‑Fi systems.
Administer user accounts, access permissions, and passwords via Active Directory.
Support system upgrades, maintenance, and basic server administration tasks.
Monitor endpoint security tools and promote cybersecurity awareness.
Partner with global IT teams on escalations, cross‑site initiatives, and knowledge sharing.
Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
Contribute to infrastructure enhancement and technology upgrade projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
Strong proficiency in Windows environments and Active Directory management.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, switches, and IP configuration.
Hands‑on experience with server management, virtualization (Citrix/VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred).
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
