Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, help deter security-related incidents, and support a positive environment for staff, visitors, and patients. What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at the healthcare location when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, visitors, and patients.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Observe and report incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist with access control, verify credentials, and assist individuals as required by site procedures.
Support medical staff and visitors during emergencies by following established protocols and assisting as directed.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter potential security-related concerns and promote a welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements
Client requires proof of high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) completion.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
