Job Overview: Provide support for the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music’s marketing and communications initiatives, including content creation and monitoring engagement with target audiences. This position will primarily be responsible for developing, implementing and revising marketing campaigns and marketing materials to support CCM’s academic offerings and public performances. The role will develop content and then manage and assess the effectiveness of paid marketing campaigns and advertising opportunities, providing regular campaign performance reporting to CCM’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and track advertising placements and ad campaign performance for CCM’s academic offerings and public performances. Monitor and evaluate campaign performances, recommending changes as needed. After campaigns, compile and report marketing data related to advertising and marketing activities.

Conduct market research and generate leads to optimize performance.

Work with CCM’s Box Office leadership to institute audience feedback surveys. Analyze survey results and provide recommendations to improve ticket sales performance.

Manage and assess CCM analytics, utilizing and reporting data to guide marketing and communication initiatives. Develop customer and department profiles based on data analyses.

Provide recommendations on campaign-specific ad spend budgets to CCM’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

Create and maintain social media content, including organic content and boosted/paid campaigns. Analyze engagement metrics and develop strategies to optimize content and user experience on social platforms.

Create targeted eblasts and e-newsletters.

Assist with other brand storytelling, web content management, and promotional efforts as needed.

Follow university purchasing procedures when making ad buys. Coordinate bidding processes for advertising materials.

Monitor campaign-specific expenses to ensure marketing activities stay within budget. Complete expense reporting for marketing expenses and ad buys.

Recommend cost containment proposals where applicable.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Five (5) years of relevant education, experience and/or other specialized training can fulfill minimum education and experience requirements

Required Experience One (1) year of experience in development and implementation of marketing and/or advertising plans.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager

Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics

Experience with Meta/Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and other social media advertising platforms

Experience with Constant Contact or similar email marketing platforms

Experience with SAP Concur Expense Management Software or similar expense reporting programs

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software

Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Proficiency with SEO tools

Familiarity with AP Style
