General Sales Manager Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a General Sales Manager to develop new customers and expand sales to existing customers at all levels. This is a unique opportunity to lead an aggressive, high-energy sales team that is a leader in the Diesel Engine, Transmission, and related Parts industry.
Job Duties:
Leads professional and aggressive sales team to grow W.W.Williams service and parts client and perspective client base, informing them of sales, promotions and opportunities.
Lead the prospecting, cultivation and successful closing of new national and regional clients and accounts.
Educating and training customers on our products and service offerings.
Plan national and regional product and service seminars.
Developing successful sales programs for the W.W.Williams Parts Distribution business nationally and in local market area.
Utilize CRM and other reporting tools to effectively manage and increase sales opportunities and maximize revenues.
Complete related special projects in conjunction with market area managers.
Work Experience & Qualifications:
5+ years of sales team leadership, development and strategy experience.
Demonstrated professional selling skills.
Demonstrated professional presentation skills and ability to train large groups.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience.
10+ years of previous selling experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Daily and some overnight travel required.
