We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a volume of requisitions with a heavy emphasis on technical skillset job families for North America.

Duties & Responsibilities

Execute full-cycle recruitment for corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators and hiring timelines

Partner with hiring managers to understand team structures, role requirements, and business goals to develop targeted sourcing strategies and position yourself as a trusted talent advisor

Refine job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring alignment with internal equity and external market competitiveness while leveraging inclusive hiring practices

Educate and guide hiring managers on recruitment best practices, compliance, and process efficiency to ensure consistent and high-quality candidate experience

Maintain accurate and timely updates in the applicant tracking system (Workday) to reflect real‑time status of requisitions and candidates

Provide proactive communication and collaboration to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and transparent experience

Utilize recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, and Workday to source candidates and optimize recruitment workflows to build talent pipelines for high‑demand and recurring roles

Apply data‑driven insights to inform sourcing strategies, improve time‑to‑fill, and enhance quality‑of‑hire, including presenting recruitment metrics and dashboards to stakeholders, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement

Work collaboratively across the North America and Global Talent Acquisition teams, contributing to a supportive and high‑performing environment focused on delivering exceptional candidate experiences and continuously improving recruitment practices at Itron

Required Skills & Experience

Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 2–5 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in a similarly sized technology company

Demonstrated experience in full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer management

Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing effective strategies for passive candidates

Professional collaboration and communication skills, including ability to influence without authority

Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with all levels of leadership and across varied cultures and time zones

Proven experience with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems

Able to work on site at least one day a week at the closest Itron location

Preferred Skills & Experience

Strong data‑driven mindset with the ability to apply dashboard insights and metrics to improve recruitment outcomes and operational efficiency

Experience recruiting for both technical and non‑technical roles, such as Engineering (hardware, software, firmware), Data Science, Information Technology & Security, Finance, Accounting, HR, Project Management, and Supply Chain

Continuous improvement mindset, actively contributing to team initiatives and process enhancements to elevate Talent Acquisition at Itron

Experience using Workday for applicant tracking

Travel 0–10 %

Salary The base salary in Washington is $75,000 – $141,000. The starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location.
