Our client is seeking a Cash Management Specialist to join their team. As a Cash Management Specialist, you will be part of the Treasury Department supporting daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Cash Management Specialist
Location:
Chester, New York
Pay Range:
$18 - $21.50 (3‑6 months contract to hire). onsite 5 days (for first 90, then 3 days‑hybrid)
What's the Job?
Reconcile and journalize all cash collections on the general ledger.
Perform bank reconciliations, investigate, resolve, and journalize discrepancies.
Conduct payment exception research and post related journal entries to the General Ledger.
Obtain, monitor, and distribute daily bank and treasury activity spreadsheets.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
What's Needed?
Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred.
2 years of experience in accounts receivable, banking, finance, or bookkeeping strongly preferred. Flexible with years of experience, recent college grads with a degree in business, accounting or finance is fine.
Intermediate or higher skill level in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as well as within a team structure.
