Inventory Controller (Weekend Shift)

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced
Inventory Controller
to join our dynamic team. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and focuses on organizing and maintaining the company’s inventory system while continuously improving efficiency. Supporting receipt and logging of parts, disbursement of parts, hardware production kitting, and providing oversight of kitting support personnel are key responsibilities. The Inventory Controller also ensures accurate inventory reporting for accounting and external audits.
Shift:
Weekend shift from Friday to Sunday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM .
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Disburse components in support of production needs
Material kitting
Conduct inventory cycle counting
Perform daily transactional tasks within the ERP system related to inventory
Maintain accurate transactional data within the ERP system
Track and report stock balances and BOMs; immediately report discrepancies
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Manage expectations across functional groups to meet company objectives
Comply with facility safety and housekeeping regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years’ experience in inventory control or warehouse environment
2+ years’ experience with an ERP and/or WMS system
Ability to support multiple tasks and balance priorities
Maintain a citation‑free driving record; verified by DMV
U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident (required for export compliance)
Additional Differentiators
APICS / CPIM certification
Analytical experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI
Prior experience in the aerospace industry
Understanding of electrical components and handling requirements
Salary Range $20 - $28 USD

This position is generally sedentary with substantial computer usage.
Work Environment The job operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing company, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
