Position Summary Cable Dahmer is seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to lead the new and used vehicle department at one of our GM locations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, in-depth product and market knowledge, and a proven track record of driving sales volume while maintaining process and profitability. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new car operations, ensuring alignment with manufacturer objectives, and fostering a high-performing, customer-focused sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all new car operations, including inventory management, pricing, and sales performance.
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual goals.
Partner with finance, service, and marketing departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement sales and merchandising strategies aligned with manufacturer programs and dealership goals.
Utilize data and key performance metrics to make informed decisions that enhance growth and profitability.
Maintain a strong focus on delivering a best-in‑class customer experience and promoting long‑term loyalty.
Qualifications
3–5 years of automotive sales management experience, preferably in new car operations.
Proven success in leading sales teams and achieving volume and gross profit goals.
Strong understanding of manufacturer programs, incentives, and dealership sales processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
