Lead Teacher Location: Pwllheli Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only) Hours: 40 per week Salary: up to £35,000.00

The Role We are seeking a committed and passionate Teacher to join our education team. You will deliver tailored lessons to individuals and small groups, both inside and outside of the classroom. Your focus will be to engage learners, meet their individual needs, and inspire them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons and resources

Assess pupils with long- or short-term learning difficulties

Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet pupils’ special educational needs

Develop high-quality teaching materials using creative approachesCreate and maintain a supportive, positive classroom culture

Provide cover for absent colleagues when required

Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all children and young people in your care

Managing a small school

Person Specification Qualifications (Essential)

Recognised Teacher Education qualification (or working towards)

Level 5 CPD in Literacy/Numeracy or Degree-level qualification (or working towards)

Desirable Additional subject-specialist qualifications

Experience (Essential) Proven teaching experience, ideally across varied settings (independent schools, PRUs, colleges)

Skilled in differentiating lessons to meet diverse needs

Experience managing mixed-ability groups

Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate learners

Management experience

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Deep commitment to safeguarding and educational quality

Enthusiastic, adaptable, and flexible approach

Ability to work collaboratively and independently
