Job Description CLS is looking for an experienced Title Supervisor for remote work in Florida. This position is responsible for directing the day-to-day work of all agents and clerical personnel involved in obtaining and documenting all title activities including tax records, title certificates I searches, condemnation title, curative, document recording and file management. This person should have a basic knowledge of database management and documents preparation. The Title Supervisor also must be able and willing to direct and assist in the training of title personnel and others involved in the title aspect of the project. Responsible for making recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of project title personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for directing the day-to-day work of all agents and clerical personnel involved in obtaining and documenting all title activities including tax records, title certificates I searches, condemnation title, curative, document recording and file management.

May examine documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify factors such as properties’ legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions to ensure accuracy.

Assist in preparing lawsuit packages for condemnation proceedings.

Research relevant legal materials to aid decision making.

Evaluate information related to legal matters in public or personal records.

Responsible for project updates to the Project Manager or Officer in Charge as well as updates to the client.

Responsible for ensuring that personnel complete tasks assigned.

Disciplines employees who are not performing up to standards.

Accountability

This position is responsible for working with all office staff, ensuring a healthy work environment and the satisfaction of all staff.

Must be able to work effectively and professionally with office staff, the client and courthouse employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for the oversight of all title work on the project.

Will be tasked with oversee the activities of all project personnel involved in title activities.

Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualification Requirements

Must have 10+years of Title experience.

Must have 2-5+years of TitleSupervisory experience.

Must be willing to work remotely.

Education

Some college in a related field; or one or more years of experience in an applicable area (i.e. real estate, title abstracting, etc.)

Licensing

Must have valid driver’s license.

Must maintain minimum automobile liability insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.

Language Skills

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to write clearly and concisely to prepare reports, specifications and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities

Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with general PC operation.

Intermediate software skills with all Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to learn new computer programs rapidly.

Ability and willingness to move rapidly from place to place and meet timeline constraints.

Capacity to be flexible, multi-task and maintain a great attitude.
