A Teacher classroom specialist/ Floater is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for preschool children.
The Teacher classroom specialist/ Floater responsibilities include: Assisting with lesson plans, providing guidance and instruction to young children, monitoring the children’s activities, supervising playtime, and providing discipline when needed. They must ensure the safety of all the children at all times.
The Teacher classroom specialist/ Floater should also be able to lead activities such as arts and crafts, story time, and outdoor play. They must be able to be creative and think of new ways to engage the children and keep them entertained. They should have a strong background in child development and be able to recognize any potential safety issues. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and administrators. A high school diploma and/or some college coursework in early childhood education is also required.
Requirements:
No experience is necessary we will train
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as a mediator between children
Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
High School Diploma
Schedule:
5-8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
No nights
No weekends

Base pay is determined by education and experience, with the potential to earn performance bonuses of up to an additional $2 per hour as part of the compensation package.
