Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Remote Sensing Scientist/Analyst.

What You Will Be Doing You will analyze satellite and aerial imagery to extract meaningful environmental, agricultural, and geospatial insights. This role involves applying advanced image processing, classification, and change detection techniques using remote sensing software and programming tools. You will develop and implement data workflows to support projects in climate monitoring, land use management, and disaster assessment.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong background in remote sensing and image processing.
Proficiency in ERDAS IMAGINE, ENVI, or similar software.
Solid understanding of spectral signatures, radiometric correction, and image calibration.
Experience with satellite imagery sources such as Sentinel, Landsat, and MODIS.
Proven ability in image classification and change detection methodologies.
Proficiency in Python programming for remote sensing (using GDAL, Rasterio, or similar libraries).
Familiarity with geospatial data formats and coordinate reference systems.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience integrating remote sensing data into GIS applications (ArcGIS, QGIS).
Understanding of machine learning techniques for image classification.
Knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as Google Earth Engine or AWS Open Data.
Familiarity with LiDAR, SAR, or UAV-derived imagery.
Experience with data visualization and scientific reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: $66.50 – $95.00 /hr.
