Main Focus

Act as the

subject-matter expert

for safety and compliance within warehouse operations.

Implement and manage

safety programs and training

across the region.

Handle

technical compliance

related to OSHA, fire safety, ergonomics, and forklift safety.

Identify and mitigate risks

to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain

warehouse safety policies and procedures

aligned across the region.

Conduct

incident investigations and root-cause analysis , continue following incidents until fully resolved and preventive actions are implemented to avoid recurrence.

Perform

OSHA compliance audits and safety inspections .

Deliver

safety training programs

(e.g., forklift, PPE, fire drills).

Maintain and analyze

safety performance metrics

(incident rate, lost time, near misses).

Interface with

external inspectors and insurance departments

along with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

Mid-Level Professional

Qualifications

OSHA 30-Hour Certification

(preferred or required).

2–3 years

of experience in safety, EHS, or related fields.

Regular knowledge of federal and state safety regulations

(ability to stay updated on changes).

Must be

self-motivated

and able to work independently.

Must be able to

travel up to 50%

of work time.

Strong

hands-on skills

and operational understanding of warehouse safety practices.

Demonstrated

consistency

in delivering safety programs and results.

Strong

cross-functional collaboration skills , including with operations, HR, compliance, and insurance departments.

Excellent communication, training, and analytical skills.
