Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity. Role Location

This is a Hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite (Monday-Thursday) in the following office locations: Bristol, CT Responsibilities
Build features and modules that are used by millions of fans Develop and enhance core site functionality using JavaScript and React Implement best practices to continually increase performance and scalability Work with product and project management to refine specs and timelines Partner with other engineering teams to deliver best solutions Build features, maintain existing code, and fix bugs in Javascript and React Participate in the code review process Qualifications
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications Proven understanding of front-end web development technologies and principles Knowledge of JavaScript, React, JS frameworks, and server-side templating Driven and self-motivated 3+ years relevant industry experience Preferred Qualifications Passion for sports Experience with fantasy sports and an understanding of their game mechanics Experience with task automation (Grunt, Gulp, WebPack) and CSS Preprocessors (Less, Sass) a plus Experience with: Javascript React Required Education BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent #DisneyTECH
