Payroll Specialist (US Payroll, Execupay Preferred)
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end US payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Execupay (or similar payroll systems) and a thorough understanding of U.S. payroll laws and tax regulations. This role will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll execution and provide support for employee payroll inquiries and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll for U.S.-based employees and contractors, including calculations, deductions, and adjustments Ensure full compliance with
federal, state, and local payroll laws
and tax filing requirements Maintain and update accurate payroll records, including time tracking, tax information, and benefits deductions Generate and distribute
pay stubs, W-2s, 1099s , and other required documents Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Partner with HR and Finance departments to address payroll-related questions and provide audit support as needed Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
3 years of experience
in
U.S. payroll processing Experience with
Execupay
is preferred; familiarity with other payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) is also acceptable In-depth knowledge of
FLSA , payroll tax laws, and compliance standards Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and payroll reporting tools Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity
