$1870–$2000
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be active at time of submission)
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS (AHA only)
TNCC certification preferred
Experience with Epic charting system preferred
Community hospital experience preferred
Ability to care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Two professional references required (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN)
Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
ER Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and behavioral health emergencies
Administer emergency medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced airway management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system
Float to other hospital units as needed
Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
