Location This position is located in a community hospital setting.
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (07:30 - 15:00) with rotating weekends, approximately every 4 weeks.
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer with experience in adult echocardiograms, including advanced procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of echo techniques and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform adult echocardiograms, including 2-D, 3-D, and Doppler imaging.
Conduct bubble studies and imaging with contrast agents.
Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiograms.
Utilize Philips equipment and manage PACS effectively.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in echocardiogram practices.
Float between primary and secondary campuses as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography, preferably in a community hospital setting.
Current certifications: ARDMS-RDCS (AE) or CCI-RCS, BLS.
Experience with GE or Philips echo equipment is required.
Experience with transesophageal echocardiograms is preferred.
Knowledge of Impella checks and LVAD procedures is a plus.
