Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a day shift, 13-week assignment in an acute care teaching hospital with Epic experience and a valid OR RN license required.
Responsibilities Position is based in case management at an acute care teaching hospital Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend or on-call requirements Patient population includes complex, acute care cases within a Level I Trauma setting Clinicians may be required to float within the site and across the health system as needed EMR used is Epic, with prior Epic experience required RNs must complete assigned education modules within one week of assignment start Completion of a required Epic Test Out Module, with additional training if necessary Scrubs or business casual attire required for case managers; specific color restrictions apply First-time travelers are welcome to apply A one-year separation is required for return staff Parking is free in any unrestricted space No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted per assignment, with no RTO allowed in the first week Work as part of a collaborative case management team in a high-acuity hospital setting
Requirements Active OR RN license or proof of application and fingerprints for OR RN license required Minimum of 2 years RN case management experience required Current BLS certification required Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred Epic system experience required References must include one recent (preferably within the last year) charge, supervisor, or manager reference COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted Must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
