36575959 Job Description: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent, and quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their families. Responsibilities include: Delivering patient care within the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Assessing and evaluating patient needs using critical thinking. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for care planning and evaluation. Educating patients and caregivers on health, prevention, and transition of care. Practicing safe and efficient patient-centered care and adhering to quality and safety standards. Performing charge nurse duties as needed and facilitating patient throughput. Participating in professional development and contributing to shared decision-making within the unit. Certification Required: Registered Nurse (RN) – New York State (Active and in good standing) Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) Skills Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Unit experience Minimum 2 years RN experience 1 year travel experience (preferred; not required for Per Diem) EPIC experience highly preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
