Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs NC)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience

Proficiency with Cerner EHR required

Ability to float to all areas of the facility as needed

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg hospital setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Cerner EHR

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Care for patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and cancer

Float to other nursing units as required to support facility needs
