Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in Texas 24-Hour Call 11/24 - 12/1 Assignment
Coverage Needed: 11/24 - 12/1
Shift Descriptions:
24-hour call, 7am-7am
30-minute call response time
Requirements:
Board certified
Fellowship
Must be licensed in Texas
ACLS certification
Procedures:
Upper and lower GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection varices, and PEG)
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and manometry interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Sigmoidoscopy (flexible/rigid)
Colonoscopy (with biopsy or with excision of polyp)
Liver biopsy
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Assignment Details:
Facility is trauma level III
Will supervise APPs
Admissions, inpatient consults, and ED consults and transfers
EMR: Athena/Medhost
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 10 days
