Overview: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our IT team, with a strong focus on Windows system administration and application support. This role is key to ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our Windows-based infrastructure, while also providing technical expertise to internal stakeholders and external clients. Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Ensure systems are updated, patched, and securely configured. MUST HAVE-BAW DataCap DataCap implementation experience FileNet upgrade experience IBM FileNet ICN Application Support: Provide advanced support for Windows-based applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application performance or availability issues. Performance & Monitoring: Deploy and manage system monitoring tools to identify and address performance issues proactively. Ensure high availability and responsiveness of systems and applications. Security & Compliance: Define and enforce security protocols to safeguard data and infrastructure. Respond to security incidents and support remediation efforts. Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration records, and support procedures. Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to develop IT solutions aligned with business goals. Provide technical recommendations and insights for project planning and execution. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices. Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong experience in Windows Server administration and application support. Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure services, and IT security. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V). Proficiency in scripting/automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional efforts. Seniority level
