Required Education

High School or GED

Required Related Experience

At least 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle

Required License/Registration/Certification

Current KY Driver's License and current CDL License, class A or B and passenger and school bus endorsement

Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Sitting for long periods of time.

Shift

Days, evenings, weekends as needed. May require over night trips and travel outside of Lexington, KY.

Most shifts will be scheduled ahead of time, but there could be instances where a last minute change is needed.

Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading of passengers - ensuring safe transportation to and from sites Updating maintenance logs for service Ensure bus stays on schedule - managing time efficiently Preparing for all types of weather and road conditions

This position will require being available as needed including days, nights and weekends. Out of city travel may also be required.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Dependability, Judgment, Communication, Quality of Work, Attention to Detail, CDL with passenger endorsement, Customer Service, Public Relations. Interact with public in a friendly professional manner; assist disabled riders as necessary; provide customers with accurate route information.
