Based on Salary Schedule Regular school hours Extra driving duties available above and beyond the school day Substitute positions lead to regular driving routes Responsibilities:
If not currently licensed, ability to obtain a commercial driver's license and proper legal credentials. Supervise and maintain control of a school bus with passengers. Ability to effectively communicate and work with parents, students, staff, and administration. Ability to demonstrate and perform defensive driving strategies. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Director of Transportation.
Driver Training:
CPCSC offers paid hourly training. CPCSC reimburses candidates for the following expenses once they have successfully earned their CDL and have driven for CPCSC for one full semester: Learner's Permit, CDL, and Skills Test. Qualifications:
Minimum of High School diploma Must be able to pass a background check, have a clean MVR, and pass a DOT physical and drug screen before consideration AAP/ EEO/ DIVERSITY STATEMENT
