Position Description

Position Details:

Normal work hours are day or night shift Monday-Friday. Weekend work maybe required depending on contract. Secure loads to bed of truck, trailer, etc. Local hauling of Asphalt/Aggregates/Sand/Construction Materials May be responsible for driving a combination of equipment: tractor/lowboy trailer, tractor/flatbed, tractor/over-sized/overweight tow equipment, etc. Operate dump trucks to deliver or move construction materials Perform general duties associated with loading, unloading, and maintaining vehicle Complete daily vehicle inspection reports, and individual vehicle mileage records meeting all DOT and company record keeping requirement Strictly adhere to Safety Requirements and Procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Job Benefits:

Mandatory Requirements:

Valid CDL and DOT Medical Card Must have an insurance approved MVR Must have reliable method of transportation to and from the jobsite A negative pre-employment drug screen is required Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document Working knowledge and understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association's regulations and state regulations regarding operating a commercial vehicle. Knowledge and previous experience in towing tandem/triple axle trailers and tow-able construction equipment safely - is preferred. Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, and sit Ability to use hands to feel objects, tools, or controls Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Ability to communicate verbally Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Work Environment:

This position requires working outdoors and driving in extreme heat/cold and possibly rainy weather. Work locations may be subject to high winds, heavy rain, or snow. As well as extremely high and low temperatures depending on the season.
