Job Description

Job Summary: The Warehouse Material Handler I will move, store, and prepare materials at our loading dock at distribution center using hand or machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks. This role will also include loading/unloading trucks, organizing stock, fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory records, and following safety protocols to ensure materials are moved accurately and efficiently.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Material Handling Loading and unloading materials from trucks, storage, and production areas using manual labor or equipment. Order Fulfillment

Picking, packing, and staging materials to fulfill customer orders for shipment. Inventory Management

Performing inventory counts, updating inventory records, and monitoring stock levels to identify low supplies. Equipment Operation

Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and position materials. Shipment Preparation

Securing, wrapping, and labeling packages for outgoing shipments and checking incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage. Workplace Safety

Adhering to all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and performing routine equipment inspections and cleaning. Minimum Qualifications: Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems Understanding of proper stacking and storage methods Experience:

Experience with operating a forklift in a warehouse environment Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one (active and valid driver’s license is required). Skills/Abilities:

Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of team Good verbal and written communication skills VALID AND ACTIVE DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED

Pay Rate:

$18.00 hr.
