Qualifications: High School or Equivalent is preferred CDL with (P) Passenger and (S) School Bus endorsements

Job Description: Responsible for safely transporting students to and from school Responsible for safety pre-checks, reporting malfunctions, handling vehicle breakdowns and maintaining a clean and safe environment for students. Responsible for following school district procedures while driving assigned bus routes Responsible for following a route (set by Transportation Director) that ensures a routine providing students and parents with a consistent and daily pick up/drop off schedule. Responsible for students' behavior while on the bus and take suitable action to resolve incidents between/among students should incidents occur. Responsible for reporting in appropriate behavior to school authorities as soon as possible Responsible for knowing NC driving laws and regulations including safe bus operations
