Accounting Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a company in Downtown Phoenix. This company is in search of an accounting clerk to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday, fully onsite.

This full-time, onsite role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Prior experience in the construction industry is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies

Assist with job costing and billing support

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records

Support month‑end closing procedures

Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues

Qualifications

Some college preferred

2+ years of experience in accounting, specifically AP and AR

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Construction industry experience is highly preferred

Pay Details : $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
