My client is one of the nation’s top law firms, renowned for its expertise in personal injury. I am currently helping them find an Attorney for their San Diego office. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of litigation experience .
Responsibilities
Represent plaintiffs in personal injury litigation cases with professionalism, empathy, and dedication;
Manage a caseload from initiation through resolution, including investigation, client depositions; deposing other witnesses as needed, opposing motions for summary judgements and preparation for trial as needed;
Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings;
Collaborate with the team to develop effective legal strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients;
Effectively communicate with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
1+ years of litigation experience.
Demonstrated Expertise in litigation, with a focus on personal injury cases preferred.
Trial Experience either as first or second chair, is highly desirable.
Proven track record in plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, possibly sexual abuse related matters.
Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple cases while accommodating each client’s medical treatment schedule.
Possess a sense of empathy towards asbestos victims and adeptness in guiding them through the deposition process.
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
