Reputable California law firm urgently seeks a Business Litigation Associate (2 to 5+ years of experience). The firm practices a wide range of civil litigation, including policyholder‑side insurance coverage (not defense), business litigation, corporate ownership disputes, employment, shareholder actions, intellectual property, and appellate practice.
Base Pay Range $150,000 – $185,000 per year (base compensation depends on experience).
Reporting Hybrid schedule: approximately three days in‑office each week from the Orange County, CA area; two days remote.
Responsibilities
Manage and litigate civil matters across a broad breadth of practice areas.
Conduct intensive research and familiarize yourself with unfamiliar areas as needed.
Collaborate with attorneys who enjoy litigation, contribute to case strategy, and deliver real projects that support overall case strategy.
Work full‑time but within a reasonable hour allocation (up to ~1,800 hrs per year).
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the California Bar.
At least three years of litigation practice in California, with a strong preference for at least three years of commercial litigation.
