BASIC FUNCTION
The Slipaway shuttle driver providestransportation for guests and employees, ensuring timely and safe arrivals anddepartures along a set route or on-demand. In addition to driving, thisposition requires strong customer service skills and the ability to act as a Slipawayambassador, answering guest questions and providing a positive first and lastimpression. A Slipaway shuttle driver is responsible for safely andcourteously transporting guests between Slipaway properties, remote parking lotand other designated destinations. As a highly visible member of the guestservices staff, the driver provides excellent customer service, assists guests,and maintains the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Guest transportation:
Safely transport guests and employees to and from designated locations in a timely manner. This includes trips within the Slipaway, to remote parking lot and other designated locations Customer service:
Greet guests warmly, assist with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Guest information:
Answer questions about Slipaway's facilities, services, and local points of interest. Make recommendations as appropriate. Vehicle maintenance and safety:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, fluids, and fuel levels. Keep the vehicle clean and presentable, both inside and out, at all times. Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management immediately. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Operational communication:
Communicate with the guest service team, and other drivers via radio to coordinate schedules, report delays, and respond to guest requests. Administrative tasks:
Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and mileage. QUALIFICATIONS
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement may be required, depending on the size of the vehicle. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to lift heavy luggage, up to 50 lbs., and sit or stand for long periods. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
